How Custom Builds Work
How to Claim Characters & Order Your Custom Build ✨
Claimed the perfect character during a Paige’s Pen Bar livestream? Now it’s time to turn it into something made just for you!
Follow the steps below to choose your item, tell Paige what you claimed, and get your custom build started.
1. Claim Your Character During the Livestream 🎥
During a live, Paige will show available characters and focals individually or take you on a tour of the character wall.
When you see one you want, claim it during the livestream!
Helpful Tip
Take a screenshot or make a note of the character(s) you claimed so you can easily enter them when placing your order.
Please note: Characters and focals are reserved for custom beaded builds and are not sold individually.
2. Choose What You Want Paige to Build
Once you've claimed your character, head to our Build Collection and choose what you'd like Paige to create.
Available options may include:
- Pens
- Keychains
- Cutting Tools
- Other custom beaded items
Choose your item and then select the style you want.
Want More Room for Beads? ✨
Some build items offer an extension, which gives Paige extra space to add more beads, details, and personality to your design.
For example:
Character Rhinestone Pen with Extension
3. Select Your Quantity
Choose how many custom items you would like Paige to make.
If you claimed multiple characters and want one separate build for each character, make sure your quantity matches the total number of builds you need.
Example
You claimed:
- Stitch
- Winnie the Pooh
- Hello Kitty
And you want a separate pen for each character.
Quantity: 3
4. Tell Paige Which Character You Claimed 💕
On the product page, scroll to the Customize Your Build section.
In the Character, Theme or Focal field, enter the character or focal you claimed during the livestream.
You can also include additional details or special requests for Paige here.
Example
Character, Theme or Focal:
Stitch — blue and purple beads, surprise me!
If you're ordering multiple builds, make it clear which character goes with each item.
5. Choose How You Want Your Build Created
You'll have two ways to have Paige create your custom piece:
🎥 Build With Me Live
Choose this option if you want Paige to create your item during a livestream.
Once your order is placed, you'll be added to the live build lineup.
Come back to the livestream, get comfy, and watch Paige bring your creation to life! ✨
✨ Shop & Create Anytime
Can't stay for the live?
Choose Shop & Create Anytime and Paige can create your custom piece offline.
You'll still receive the same personalized Paige's Pen Bar magic—just without waiting in the live lineup.
6. Add to Cart & Check Out 🛍️
Double-check your:
- Item
- Style
- Quantity
- Character or focal
- Customization notes
- Build preference
Then add your build to your cart and complete checkout.
If you selected Build With Me Live, head back to the livestream and wait for your turn in the lineup!
Didn't Claim a Character During the Live?
No problem! You can still order a custom character build. 💕
You don't have to claim a character before shopping.
Simply:
- Choose the item you'd like Paige to make.
- Enter your desired character in the Character, Theme or Focal field.
- Select Build With Me Live or Shop & Create Anytime.
- Complete checkout.
What Happens Next?
If your requested character is currently available, Paige can pull it for your build.
If you selected Build With Me Live, your order can then be added to the live lineup.
If your requested character isn't currently in stock, Paige can order it for your custom piece.
